HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
This depends heavily on the size of your loft! As a guide, our minimum charge for loft vacuuming (including old insulation removal) is £420.00 plus VAT. This price covers up to 40 square meters, thereafter it’s £8 per square meter. Please refer to our pricing page for more detail.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Again, this depends on the size of the loft – but, as a rough guide, an average roof cleaning with basic boarding can be completed in one or two days.
CAN WE REMOVE OLD WATER TANKS?
Absolutely. We can remove anything that is currently in the loft, even asbestos (Asbestos and other hazardous material removals are quoted subject to inspection)
HOW MUCH INSULATION IS NEEDED?
Loft joists: We recommend installing either a single 100mm layer, or a twin 200mm layer, depending on joist size. As regards the roof joists, we recommend 100mm insulation. In addition, we can add foiling or a suitable membrane to the rafters, further improving the insulation properties of your roof.
